Every company has an origin story. Ours starts with an ancient parable and a conviction that wouldn’t go away.
The Name
A talanton (τάλαντον) was a unit of weight and money in the ancient world — roughly 75 pounds of silver. One talent was worth approximately 20 years of a common laborer’s wages. It was an enormous, almost incomprehensible sum.
In Matthew 25, a master entrusts his servants with talents before leaving on a journey. Two servants invest, trade, and double what they were given. The third digs a hole and buries his in the ground. When the master returns, the multipliers hear the words every steward wants to hear: “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
The one who buried his talent? He lost even what he had.
That parable isn’t just a Sunday school story. It’s an operating philosophy. And it’s been rattling around in my head for decades — not as a devotional thought, but as a business conviction.

Talanton Digital exists because burying what you’ve been given is not an option. We take what we’ve been entrusted — three decades of technology leadership, hard-won expertise in government and nonprofit operations, an architect’s instinct for how systems should work — and we put it to work. We build. We ship. We multiply.

Talanton Digital is a holding company that births and operates multiple digital businesses. SaaS products. Content platforms. Digital services. Each venture starts with the same question: Is there a problem worth solving and a better way to solve it?
